POLITICAL MATURITY IN PAKISTAN

It is hard but non-trivial to understand the word “maturity” in the sphere of politics. Often among the people of the world, some are called “Politically backward “and others “Politically mature”. Where we stand between them is rightly based on the political behavior we usually maintain within the party or with opponents. In such a way developing self-confidence in decision-making against or in favor of any event or case in the national interest is an example of maturity. When it comes to our politics maturity is far away from our approach.

The values are perished under the forced and imposed trend of politics whether on national or local levels. Where masses are not to push on progression rather they are pushed behind figures to give respect and remained bowed. Political activism steering the nations towards improving individuals’ self-esteem and it ultimately builds confidence in fighting against the root causes of a nation or society being backward. The public strength has to be galvanized effectively onto some strategic importance of the nation or region to pool their individual efforts for their regional development not for a limited objective or to give shield of personal interests.

But when we analyze things elementary basis the ongoing election campaigns in GB-4 where leaders are bowed and pushed against others. Irrespectively, I personally feel there a lack of political maturity that needs to be a healthy nation or community. Why every party in a hurry to rally political culture out of the region without recognizing the local socio-psycho structure. People are instigated against opponent parties by using religious creeds about their legal status in Islam. Privately people have very closed relations but when it comes to the local elections they are divided and disintegrated forever.

There need to uptake progressive measures to put vigilance on every imposing and forced flow of politics out of the region rather than educate every individual to care for their self-esteem while casting their votes. Mostly, people are offered jobs and grant black money at the eleventh hour to snatch sympathy and favoritism. This is against the general humanity to force individuals in favor and against others.

There must be no more room for party “Goons” or “Jiyala”, they usually in deaf and dumb, to lead the minds. The only way you lead is a vision above all your desires or interests that a political maturity relies on.
