Gilgit-Baltistan is renowned for its culture and ancient heritage deeply rooted in the region. For generations, locals give respect to their predecessors and revive their lifestyles and teachings to the next generations. In ancient history, there were teachers, doctors, engineers, educationists, scholars, and philanthropists working with diehard in a resource-depleted society.
The tourists from across the country especially visiting areas for musical concerts, the local dance which might sooner or later convert the whole region into a place for entertainment and enjoyment. As we witnessed in Gojal (Hunza) where there was an open music gala that attracted people from Sindh, Punjab, and the rest part of the region to come and enjoy with locals. Later on, the local community peers condemned the event and called it against the local culture and social ethics. Any kind of musical event, whether it is open or secret, is banned in the whole district of Hunza.
It's a real-time decision taken by Hunzukuz (the dwellers of Hunza) and is the right step for the socio-religion narrative of a civilized society. Every district of Gilgit-Baltistan must have to set its cultural limits and narrative to negate the cultural-vulgarity by prioritizing collective goals. Let's banned all kinds of so-called cultural dancings across the GB that may cause the deviation of youth from school to the local dance gala. In other words, the local youth have become a source of entertainment, (dance and clapping hands) for the coming guests and corrupt political mafias.
